The easiest way to reach the Rocher de Naye from Montreux is to take the cog-railway that hugs the side of the mountain and which allows you to reach one of the most beautiful panoramic viewpoint in Switzerland.
On the top of this mountain you will have a chance to eat a fondue into the panoramic restaurant.

Do not forget that with your riviera card, you will get a discount on that train.

Below a quick video of the train that will help you to reach the Rocher de Naye at 2045 meters.

Of course you can also walk there but take some good shoes!!

How to come down from the Rocher de Naye

There are several ways to come down from the Rocher de Naye. I personnaly walk but the guy on the below video seems enjoying a different way. At least this video shows you the paths you would take.

Otherwise you can make it by freeriding. Have a look to this video that shows amazing landscapes.

Another way to get down, for the most courageous, is paragliding. The Rocher de Naye is by the way a very famous spot for paragliding - Every year the world's best pilots are coming for a great competition. In 2006 the first ever FAI aerobatics world championshp was organized here.
