Located in Bouveret, 15-20 minutes by car from Montreux, the Swiss vapeur parc displays an area of more than 17'000 m2.
Really fun, this park allows children and olders to travel on miniatur trains along a sumptuous decor with many miniatur replicas from the swiss heritage: Castle of Aigle,  church of Saanen, many railway buildings, 10 bridges, 5 tunnels, etc...

The park is open to the public every day from 13:30 to 18:00 and from 10:00 to 18:00 on week-ends and holidays. It is sometimes open until 23:30.

Adult fee: CHF. 14. --
Children fee (4 to 16 years old) : CHF. 12. --
These fees allow people unlimited travel on the trains during the day. Groupe rates available from 10 people.

The entire parc can be privatized for weddings, private functions, etc...

Go on the Swiss Vapeur parc website that shows more information and special event like the 60th steam train festival that will take place June 11-20th 2009 and that will operate more than 60 private locomotives from all Europe.
