The products of Vaud organize August 09th 2009 a giant Sunday brunch under the market hall to promote their production. The organization wants to attract many tourists visiting the region but also locals.
This is the first time I see that kind of event held in Montreux but seems to me a good opportunity to discover the numerous local specialties such as: Bircher, potato salad potato from Jorat, ham on the bone, sausage, cheese, fruits, etc ...
The market place is right on the lake in front of the Freddy Mercury statues - It will be served from 09:00 in an authentic atmosphere. I already attended a private event at that place with 500 people - Great !!!!!! - If the organisation reaches that number, it will be successful.
The price is CHF. 32. -- for adults and CHF. 16. - for children. Reservations can be done at +41 21 614 25 60 or on www.terroirs vaudois.ch - Bon appetit !!!!
